Pirsos Blind Sport Union was founded in Thessaloniki, Greece in 1997. Pirsos focuses on sport activities for visually impaired people. Its main objectives are to increase the participation of visually impaired people in sport activities and to raise awareness about the different sport activities available for v.i. people. The Sport Union counts over 100 members, who practice, train and explore the field of visually impaired people’s sports. The Sport Union not only deals with the sport activities conformed with the official IBSA sports but it is active also in the field of creation and development of sport establishments and equipment, in the organisation and participation in local, national and international sport events and in outdoor activities, which promote the integration of the blind and visually impaired into society through sports. Within these activities the Sport Union collaborates with sport federations, organisations and units all over the world. The Sport Union counts more than 50 participations in International Meetings and Tournaments all over the world among which the Paralympic Games.
BSDA is able to ensure proper implementation of all the project stages in Bulgaria and also comply all the stages of the project activities, select and send participants from Bulgaria to all the projects events, educational and research activities, dissemination actions. BSDA can also host any kind of events and campaigns, connected to physical activity, active living, sport events, youth policies, non-formal education and more. During the projects lifetime we will support the organization of the meetings, events as well as methodology and content development, advertising and visibility campaigns. Bulgarian sports development association has extensive experience in the field of youth activities, sports events and trainings. Young athletes and volunteers are an essential part of the team of the Association and for our team capacity building of Bulgarian youth and sport experts is a top priority. Over the years we have organized a variety of events focused in the development of sport and physical activity and implementing of good practices on local level in our country. Each team member is committed to the development of sport and has solid background in various aspects of management, administration and organization of NGO and entrepreunerial sector. Team members has participated in multiple trainings and initiatives under the program Youth in Action and Erasmus+.
The Real Club Deportivo de La Coruña SAD Foundation was established in 2017 with the primary aim of supporting the public interest goals of its founding entity through non-profit initiatives. Its mission is to promote and develop sports, cultural, and social activities that enhance societal well-being through innovative, inclusive, and solidarity-driven actions. The Foundation emphasizes preserving and sharing RC Deportivo’s historical heritage while implementing a range of seasonal programs in collaboration with key community stakeholders. Since 2016, the Club’s Social Responsibility Department has aligned with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), making them central to the Foundation’s work. The Foundation’s five core objectives include fostering diversity and inclusion, promoting sports practice—particularly among youth—as an educational and motivational tool, supporting education and knowledge-sharing in sports, preserving and showcasing the Club’s historical legacy, and advancing solidarity and social well-being by assisting vulnerable groups and raising awareness of shared social challenges.
Rescue Training International (R.T.I.) offers high quality and qualified First Aid Training. We offer training in a wide target group, independently from specialization and business environment. RTI is an approved first aid training organization registered in Cyprus, offering training services world wide through it’s certified instructors network. Greece and Balkans are being serviced by RTI’s registered office in Greece. Any certificate issued by Rescue Training International, is internationally recognized. Any offered first aid training program is based to the most current literacy, always following the latest guidelines according to the international resuscitation and first aid standards. More than 45 organizations and institutes worldwide, recognize the RTI First Aid Training Courses. Training services offered by RTI include many different programs which can be taught as standalone or in a combination according to the candidate’s social or business environment and requirements.
Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh), which was founded in 1925, is the largest university in Greece and South-eastern Europe with 11 Faculties organised into 41 Schools, including 1 single-School Faculty. The Aristotle University of Thessaloniki constitutes a comprehensive institution with Faculties and Schools serving a vast array of scientific fields, ranging from natural and technological to social and health sciences, arts and humanities. More than 75,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students study at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and its Teaching and Research Staff numbers around 2,000 people. In AUTh, 41 Programmes of undergraduate studies and 92 Programmes of postgraduate studies operate in individual Schools, among which there are some inter-departmental, inter-university and international ones.
