Deportivo La Coruña

Our partners at Deportivo La Coruña hosted a powerful dissemination event, sharing the project’s goals, activities, and results with local and national stakeholders.

Athletes, youth, and coaches took part with enthusiasm, proving once again that sport is a strong tool for inclusion and education.

Aristotle University of Thessaloniki

AUTH disseminated the SHOWDOWN project to key stakeholders from sports clubs for athletes with disabilities, highlighting the importance of inclusion and safety in parasport.
 
As part of this initiative, AUTh also presented the “Guide on Safe and Inclusive Showdown”, a practical tool designed to support coaches, trainers, and sport organizations in creating accessible, structured, and inclusive environments for all athletes.
 

Bulgarian Sports Development Association

In addition to egg painting and sports activities, children and participating stakeholders were introduced to the inclusive sport of Showdown, raising awareness and promoting athletic opportunities for individuals with visual impairments.

Rescue Training International

Rescue Training International – First Aid Training organised a dissemination event as part of the project. During the event, participants were introduced to the main goals of the project, explored tools and practices that support safety and inclusion in parasport, and engaged in innovative training activities. The event also featured the presentation of the Guide for Inclusive and Safe Showdown. 

AUTH & Pyrsos

As part of the “AUTH on Sunday” initiative, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh), in collaboration with the Athletic Club of the Blind “Pyrsos”, presented the sport of Showdown. During the event, inclusive Showdown matches were held with the participation of children and adults, both with and without disabilities, promoting the values of accessibility, inclusion, and equality in sport.
